Yes if you are an end user attending an event the platform is free and made for your enjoyment! If you are an event creator you can actually earn income, so it’s less than free. If you are an advertiser, no, you pay to have a presence but oh what a new and unique presence!
Attendees can use the platform and view most features without registering. Features that require an account include viewing Announcements, setting a default event, creating a favorites list, creating groups to collaborate and share public or private events with. If you are going to create events then Registration is required.
You can coordinate any type of get together with our platform, free, with cool Augmented Reality stuff if you want.
Make a Custom map with graphics, colors, shapes and labels, then you can embed it in your website or share it to social media. AND IT’S A LIVE MAP! Not a static pdf file. Your users will see themselves as a live blue dot on your Custom Map.
AR is coming your way as both google and apple have released development kits to make it possible on their devices. AR turns your device into a viewfinder (similar to camera mode) that enables you to see digital objects commingled with real objects
Experiment! You are encouraged to make a demo event for yourself (unpublished). Use your home or your office as the location. Create AR objects using the EW tools and place them there to see them using your iPhone or iPad, maybe in your yard or the street by wherever you are. The App also has an Augmented Reality Sandbox to play with. You can find it in Settings on the Home Screen.
We have pioneered a new and interesting map-based advertising platform utilizing not only AR ads but also geolocation based ads to highlight local merchants and flat ads that appear as an object on the event map. We dislike many current forms of advertising more than you do probably, so we invented a new way to advertise that is fun & engaging for the user, more beneficial to the advertiser, and creates a new revenue stream for the owner of the event. And it pays our bills. That's a win-win-win-win deal.

General Public Overview
Using the app touch public events and you’ll find a list of current past and future events. On the website you’ll find the search on the homepage.
Our live platform features a live map. Using the app, once you’re in your event map, click on route in the top right hand corner of your device screen.
Event details tell you all about the event, schedules etc.
This is self-explanatory. The photo gallery has photos of the event, check back often because new photos are added live.
They live map is the heart of it was her. Use it to see where you are in relation to your venue. Also use it to patronize the local sponsors that are participating in the event. Zoom out on the map and you will be able to see the sponsor With their logo on their establishment. Also look for the little pink they are markers. Find local eateries & more intrusive advertising drives us nuts! We develop this innovative unique advertising platform that is non-invasive non-intrusive and actually fun to use. We give local sponsors a place on the map and augmented reality options for your viewing. Additionally the local sponsors listed in the sponsors screen. Touch one of them and one for mission about that sponsor will appear whether you were touching their augmented reality ed, their sponsor Ed, or their mayor bed attached to their physical location.
Our platform is pioneering augmented reality advertising! It’s fun and unique. Search for the pink dots on your event and touch the AR option in your NAV bar on your iOS device. Integrated convenient local weather current conditions, forecast, local weather radar right into the app. No more having to open a third-party app to find this information.
Do you see a thunderstorm heading your way? Did you see a flash in the sky? Touch our lightning indicator and it will tell you if any lighting has struck within 10 miles of your visit and how long it has been with a running counter since that even took place. Safety guidelines are to wait 30 minutes after a lightning strike within 10 miles.
In the app you can touch the heart in the top left corner of your event, creating a favorite. This creates a shortcut from the event search screen. On that screen you can touch the corresponding heart and it will show you all of the events that are your favorites.
You can also designate any event as your default event. When you open the app it will go directly to that event.
The announcement area is used by the creators to communicate with you, their audience. They may tell you about schedule changes or unplayable FIELD‘s or upcoming things of interest. You will see indicator on Announcements when there is an announcement that you have not read yet.
Tournament / League Overview
Eventwizard is used to route users directly to the event. They can see themselves as a live blue dot on the map of your event. They can see the FIELD and FIELD numbers and look at the schedule. If they know they are supposed to be on field eight at 9:30 AM they easily know where they need to be. They can look at the team brackets, scores and schedules as well as see the local businesses if they need a cup of coffee, or something for lunch or something cold to drink after the day is over. They can check the weather, the radar and the lightning indicator if weather threatens. It is a communication tool for attendees and event creators / tournament director featuring

Our platform features live scoring and notifications for your attendees. As scores are finalized, it automatically advances the teams to their next opponent. They can see who they play, what time they play, and what field they play on. Event wizard features pool play with tiebreakers and an automated transition into the championship bracket of the winning teams based on the results of Pool play.

We also have automated the brackets so teams advance automatically to the next scheduled opponent whether they win or lose. And we have automated the transition from pool play using tiebreakers to the championship bracket play based on those results.
Leagues and Tournaments differ in two ways: Leagues last several weeks and therefore we have a league calendar to conveniently show which days are game days. Tournaments use brackets for their events. Leagues usually only have brackets the end of the league play for the playoffs, and Event Wizard fully accommodates all of this.
My teams is a convenient way to get automated notifications of any scoring or scheduling changes for any team or teams you were interested in. Select them in the My Teams area to receive those notifications.
Automated notifications for your team is one of our live features. When you select your team and designate them as My Team you will receive automated notifications if there is any scoring or scheduling changes. Notifications must be turned on in your settings to receive these notifications.
Tournament / League Bells & Whistles
The pinch point of all scoring apps is getting the score from field side to whoever is inputting the score into the platform. We’ve solved that problem by implementing multiple Scorekeepers. Event Creators can designate the referees, or team managers, or a field observer or even the coaches as Scorekeepers. They can update each score as it is made or they can wait until the game is over to input the score and designate it as Final. Once that happens teams are automatically scheduled and routed to their next pre-scheduled game.
This is a great feature that our customers requestd. At the end of pool play they usually spend a few hours manually calculating the tiebreakers and figuring out who advances to bracket play. We have engineered all of this into the platform. We have tiebreakers five levels deep, so the appropriate team is routed to the appropriate match in the championship matchups. Boom.
Event Creators have the option of entering the scores by quarters, halves or just the total. Whatever they choose will be reflected the scores that the attendees see for the matches.
Different sports have different methods of scorekeeping and we’ve implemented the most popular, with more to come. If your scoring method is not listed please let us know what you need.
- Soccer - we use of the most popular scoring for soccer tournaments, which is the 3 point system. The winning team earns 3 points for a win. 1 point for a tie, 0 for a loss.
- Beach Soccer (FIFA points system) - Beach soccer is unique and different from regular soccer that there are no ties allowed. So the winning team earns three points for a win in regular time, two points for a win in overtime, and one point for a win in PKs.
- Volleyball - uses a 5 set system..
- Other sports use the base scoring system of entering the actual total number of points or runs scored either by quarters, halves or just the total. If you want a particular scoring system that is not implemented please let us know what you need.
Tournament directors can designate individuals as referees. They can then assign them to individual games. This allows the referees on their own device to look up their schedule of which games they are assigned to, times of the games, and the field numbers where they are supposed to be. Additionally and optionally, referees can be designated as scorekeepers so once the game is completed they simply input the score on their device, designate it as final, and the routing of the teams to their next match and the updating of the standings and stats are all done immediately.

Tournament directors often know weeks or months ahead of their event the divisions they expect to have and can estimate the number of teams and the number of fields they may need before the actual teams are known. Event wizard allows them to pre-schedule the games and fields, this is what we call empty brackets. This feature helps attendees and teams to make travel plans early.
Eventwizard creates all of your match-ups automatically based on the Bracket type that you choose. Each of those matches is then given a time and a field. Our scheduling screen allows you to view all of the matchups and schedule them in one easy to use screen.
This very useful. It does not allow teams or fields to be double booked.
This simple feature really dresses up your event it makes it look really good. Each team can have their own badge or logo uploaded to the system that appears on the schedule next to their team name.
This feature allows users to designate their team or multiple teams as “My Teams“. Whenever there is a scoring change or a scheduling update they will get a notification.
Push notifications allow the creator to push a message that appears as a pop up on user screens that vanishes after a couple of seconds. This differs from announcements in that announcements do not appear as a pop up. Announcements appear in the announcement area within an small red notification symbol. The user can go to the announcement area anytime as announcements do not vanish and are listed by order of entry.
Events are not run by one person. All the people that are helping with the event need access to the platform. We created the following crewmembers, and any person can be designated as more than one type of crew member for the same event at the same time. When they go to the home screen and select “Manage Events” and choose their crewmember type, their event will appear.
- General Manager - The most powerful of the crew members, the general manager can do everything except delete the event.
- Schedulers - schedulers have the ability to schedule games and edit the schedule, create brackets.
- Scorekeepers - score keepers have the ability to enter scores for matches. Many people can be designated as scorekeepers. Referees, coaches, team managers or field observers are common choices. There can be multiple scorekeepers at a single event. Often at least one for each field but sometimes one scorekeeper may be updating to three or four fields. The best practice is to have a scorekeeper responsible for no more than two fields if possible, assuming they are adjacent fields.
- Photographers - photographers have the ability to upload pictures that appear in the photo gallery. You can organize the ability for your attendees to send their personal photos to the photographer for uploading.
- Announcers - announcers have the ability to make announcements that appear in the announcements area of the app for your event.
- Map Maker - map makers have the ability to edit the map, including adding or deleting fields. They will not be allowed to delete any fields that have scheduled games.
Referees - our referee management function is very helpful to the individual referees. They touch the event and the referee will see all of the matches that he or she is responsible for working. A ref can also be designated as a scorekeeper to update the scores of the games they are working.
Referee Manager (not done yet) - The referee manager has the ability to designate individuals as referees. They can then schedule those ribs to matches individually.
Event Creator Overview
Whether you are creating a public event or a private event you designate whether it is published or not. Publishing a public event makes it available for viewing by the general public. If you want to publish a private event you do that by creating a group and then publishing the event to the group. Only the people that are members of the group can then see that event. The ability to create a group is a function in the app.
Creating a live custom map is the heart of the event was her platform. You can color as a map label a man input icons, sports fields, and borders. Why use a standard Google map with a pin in it when you can use a customized Google map with your branding your logo that you can monetize?
You can designate individuals to help run your event.
You can input the event details for your attendees. Those details along with a background image, custom logo, custom map etc. appear as a custom promotional webpage on the event wizard site that you can use as your event webpage. If you do have your own webpage, several elements can be embedded via code into your webpage, including the map, schedules and scores, standings and brackets.
